Mansion of nude/屋形原の共同住宅

笹丘の住宅。残工事だったポーチ灯の取付けに行った時、すでにキッチンが使い倒されてて嬉しかった。キッチンの重心は低くしたかった。敷地高低差を利用して段差を設けた。ロジックと感覚が噛み合った気がした。

Sasakaoka's residence. When I went to install porch lights, I was delighted to find that the kitchen had already been well-used. I wanted to lower the center of gravity in the kitchen, so I utilized the height difference of the site to create steps. It felt like the logic and intuition aligned perfectly.

今週末の福岡はビッグイベント目白押し。こどもの合宿も重なり神幸祭もcircleも行けず、代わりに誘ってもらったsakan講習の見学に。

大津磨きと呼ばれる土壁の磨きを久住直生（の父）が指導。指導内容がディープすぎたけれど、何度も磨かれた赤土壁が銅板のように輝き奥行があって美しいことだけは私にも分かったし、手垢の残る仕事で憧れます。

I couldn't attend the music event "Circle" in Fukuoka this weekend on 5/20-21, but I went to observe a sakan workshop that I was invited to instead.

Naoki Kusumi (the father) was instructing the polishing of a clay wall known as "Ōtsu-migaki." The red clay wall was shining like a copper plate. The yellowish-toned clay wall was also beautiful.

I admire the work of carpenters and plasterers, as they leave visible marks on their hands.
